I helped care for two ladies that had this. Sometimes they knew who I was and other times they weren’t sure. Staying kind and compassionate can be had for some people to contend with but it was worth it to see them smile and know that they wouldn’t have wanted their families to deal with this disease if they had a choice.

I was a assistant at a Nursing Home. Taking care of people with Alzheimers. Some are mean & others are nice. I also, worked in a Group Home, it took 2 people to take care of a guy. The guy I took care of hit me. I was lucky, I didn't have my glasses on. I hope, they will have a cure for this disease

Prayers to you and your family Dave. I have had good friends die of this awful disease.

Prayers to you and your family. My dear mother in law succumbed to the disease at age 78. Her father did, too, at 73. My husband and I will follow this drug. He worries that he could have it.

My mother died five years ago, and I yearn to write a book to help others get prepared. So many things happened, some we could control, but most not. Scary, emotional roller coaster. My nerves are still raw. I am sorry you and your family is going through this. Be kind to your sister.

My dad almost made it to 81 when he passed in 2016. Being close to him and his caretaker was definitely an emotional rollercoaster but he left me with much expressed gratitude for all I did for him.... and that is a priceless gift I'll keep in my heart forever

My mother in law has late onset Alzheimer's. My husband who is a scientist has spent the last 10 years reading the scientific literature to find a way(s) to help his mother. He achieved his goal. This information he learned is so important my husband and I have set up a website, blogs on blogger, I have a facebook group, videos on you tube and a website. My husbands name is Dennis N Crouse and he has written 4 evidence based books which are available on Amazon. A great deal of the information from the books are at our blogs. This information will help people who has Alzheimer's as well as people who want to prevent Alzheimer's. https://prevent-alzheimers-autism-stroke.com/
