I think covering the Gladwin City Council meetings should be on your list for there is a lot of dissension and unhappiness with their heavy-handed and attitude toward citizen concerns - and their treatment of the mayor. Please add it to your list of future events!
This is not the only community with council bickering issues. Flint came to mind when I saw this. They have a very contentious city council. I have seen some of their meetings where council members actually get up and walk out. I have seen school board meetings that have had members walkout. This is an issue that needs to be addressed all over Michigan. I'd have to attend a council meeting here in Ky to find out if they are better run.
