sorry for your loss. It is sad that we can't get the truth before we lose someone we love.

Sorry for your loss. I love watching you be a journalist. Unbiased and getting the facts out there. It has become very rare, but it’s very appreciated.

Thank you for sharing this. Unfortunately too many people see the truth as that which has the best personal financial outcome and as a fluid resource of personal benefit. It has caused the dilution of confidence in those delivering information.

You are so accurate

I am so sorry for your loss. How difficult that was on you and your family. I totally understand, my grandpa was a coal miner. He passed from Black Lung. I am thankful for you being you.

I can truly relate to this. My father also died from this terrible cancer. He worked at Malleable Iron. I would always ask him why his handkerchief was always "black" after he blew his nose. He worked faithfully every day to take care of his family, all the while he was killing his self slowly.

WOW Dave this is very touching. I'm so sorry we really don't know what is true and what's not its very sad ..to know the truth is to have friends and family you can trust and know they will tell you the truth and even then we question. god bless you and thank you for sharing I'm sure your dad is very proud of you.

Wow Dave! Thank you so much for sharing your story about your dad. It breaks my heart that things were covered about what asbestos can do to a person. Many deaths of various diseases/illnesses have been covered up. It is a case of wrongful deaths I believe in many cases and it is wrong along with corrupt coverups! This has been going on for many years! It is wrong and it is sinful that in many circumstances that it is corrupt and then many covering it up. I stand with truth & honor and I’m tired of corrupt politicians doing this coverup job. It’s time that WE THE PEOPLE stand up!!! Same thing that is going on in our country/politics everyday! Thank you for your honesty and questioning certain things for us, WE THE PEOPLE. I am beyond sorry for what happened to your dad and that politicians were corrupt. Believing our Country will get back on track!

I'm praying that everything that is hidden will be revealed and for God to protect all the people of the world every day. I believe that our One Nation Under God is gaining ground and I'll never stop fighting against the evil in our world, especially the corrupt politicians. God bless and protect us all, amen.

I am so sorry, Dave. I hurt with you and your family for your father’s suffering and early death. I am sad and angry that he and others were lied to.

Your honesty in reporting has made you my favorite TV journalist and I enjoy your live reports, such as Dishes with Dave and live updates.

With your integrity people that follow you will know the truth. Your dad is proud of you and how his and your family’s tragedy has made you a leader in journalism!

We lost an Uncle to Mesothelioma. He was a steel worker and his company built several of the buildings on the Portage, Mi. site of Pfizer- which back then was the Upjohn company. There are still places throughout the company with asbestos that is " sealed and monitored for damage" I always wonder how safe it actually is.....

That was a touching story. This has happened a lot of the years of being lied to by “experts” or our government. Your dad gave you a gift of his wisdom. I really appreciate you for your willingness to have principles and just reporting the news. It is refreshing.
