Ramona Bessinger, who has over 22 years of experience, is still on administrative leave with pay after a student protest led to an investigation. "I wasn't suspended. This is an administrative leave pending an investigation after a student protest," she explained. She attributes the protest to her criticism of the curriculum, which she believes contains anti-American and overly sexualized content.
