Yessssss! It's time they quit shutting parents out of their own child's life. This is a family issue NOT a school issue. They need to take it out of schools period. It doesn't need to be taught to elementary students nor to middle school students. There are and always will be two genders Male and Female. This world has gone crazy. A child's frontal lobe the decision making part of their brain is NOT fully developed before age 25. That is the only time they need to consider the transgender nonsense.
