To mask or not to mask, lets not judge
People need to calm down
I interviewed a woman this week who despite being vaccinated says she will continue to wear a mask.
The woman told me she has an auto-immune disease and her doctor advised her for the time being she should continue to wear a mask.

After the story aired some people went on social media and were upset that the woman was still wearing a mask, and mad that I aired her interview.
My job is not to judge anyone, my job is to provide information.
Why is it wrong that this woman wants to still wear a mask?
When my son was born I had bronchitis and the doctor suggested I wear a mask to help keep him safe. This was four years ago.
We all have free will and I believe we should not judge others or impose our will on others. If this woman wants to wear a mask, let her wear a mask.
I write this because I just want people to try to be more understanding of each other and to try to bring civility into society.
Honestly, I don’t care what people do to protect themselves. Where I have a problem is when they tell me what I need to do because they’re scared or compromised. We are all in charge of our own lives. Asking millions of people to sacrifice for one person is selfish. And I’m not saying a mask is a sacrifice for all - if could be - I’m looking broader at isolations, loss of business, loss of livelihood, loss of just living life.
Unlike most I wear a mask when I am outside . Not because of the virus but because I have allergies.. I have done this for years now. It prevents alot of reactions. Wearing one inside makes me feel like I am suffocating. It's torcher. I feel we need to avoid judging the people not wearing masks. We each have our own path.
