Dave, very nice words about your Mom. My Mom was of similar age (born 1932) and I miss her a lot. She only made it to 66, cancer sucks. Tonight we will remember your Mom along with my Mom in our family Rosary. Keep up the good job of making her proud of you.
25 years? When did you start at age 10? I lost both of my parents before I was 34 yrs old, I was blessed with opportunity to care for them in our family home. Something I do again in a heart beat. My mother was only 58, rapid onset dementia, diagnosis to death was only 10 months. We still have a hard time with that unexpected and strange diagnosis resulting the death of a woman so dynamic and full of life. Each moment is precious, treasure them, take nothing for granted but live in gratitude, we never know what we’ve got till it’s gone. ❤️.
