I believe it is time for Dr. Peterson to step down from teaching. I would haul my child out of any course he taught. If he is 70, this will be his last year according to Michigan Law. All professors turning 70 at an public college or university in Michigan is forced to retire. This man is too biased to teach. Just FYI, EMU just down the road had a History of Black Americans class in the 1970s. I know I took it and was the only white face in the room. The professor thought I had wandered into the wrong class. I told him no. I was going to be a teacher and I didn't know what district I might end up in. If my students were African Americans, I need to know their history, so I can understand better where they come from. He sat me in the front row. When he started class, he introduced himself and then he said I want your to look around at the people in this classroom. What do you notice? No one said a word for a moment, then someone from the back asked why is there a white woman in this class? He asked me to stand. He introduced me by name and said. I want you all to get to know her. She plans to be a teacher but doesn't have any place picked out for teaching. She wants to know your history, so if she is in a school where African-American students are predominant, she can talk to them about who they are and the people they come from with the facts she will learn in this class. I wish we had more students like her to balance out this class. He thanked me and told me I could sit down. I met several inspiring students in that class and learned things that were not in my history books.

This is not a good thing and I think the first thing to change is their non-profit status. See how that gets them riled. Shut them down.
That is the sweetest thing I've heard in a long time. I hope he treated her to a nice dinner and a limo drive to an from prom.
I don't recall a law or amendment that says States can overrule the Consititution.
