Surveillance video released of person of interest in Nancy Guthrie investigation
FBI releases video and pictures of person of interest
TUCSON, Ariz. — Federal authorities on Tuesday released new surveillance images showing a masked individual tampering with a security camera at the home of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of NBC “Today” co-anchor Savannah Guthrie, as the search for her continues.
The black-and-white images, released by the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, show a person wearing gloves and a backpack on the front porch of Guthrie’s home in the Catalina Foothills area. Investigators say the individual appears to be disabling a doorbell camera. Authorities have not identified the person as a suspect but are asking for the public’s help in identifying them.
Nancy Guthrie was last seen late Jan. 31 after being dropped off at her home by family members. She was reported missing the following day when she did not follow her normal routine. Investigators have said evidence found at the residence suggests she did not leave voluntarily. Blood discovered at the home has been confirmed as hers.
Savannah Guthrie and her family have publicly pleaded for information, saying they believe she is still alive and urging anyone with knowledge of her whereabouts to contact law enforcement.
The FBI is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to Nancy Guthrie’s recovery or the arrest of those responsible. The investigation remains ongoing.

I hope and pray she is still alive.
