Dave I follow you cuz I haven't found one thing that you have lied about or put something out there before all the facts were out. You report all sides. You also make sure you post where you found something. Plz plz don't let the haters win. Keep doing what you are doing. Plus I love it that we get too see Dave the family man.

Dave, we love you! We love your family! Everyone is offended by something these days, so they might as well be offended by the stand you take. SMH. It’s a BIG problem. It’s a SCARY problem. We are supposed to accept everything that is against God’s Holy word, and more. It’s heartbreaking. We should be accepting of you and your unbiased news. Why wouldn’t we? You do an awesome job Dave, in a very broken society. Praise God for people like you! Keep up the great work young man!

Here's the problem, Dave. You show bias when you are selective on what you cover and just how much information you provide. It's obvious where you're appeal is by the type of response you get and, being a "Facebook pro", you know the most important objective isn't information but what Facebook likes to call "engagement".

Today, you posted an item about what Dr. Collins said about parents wearing masks in the home and his clarification. (BTW, his clarification was the same day he first made the statement. The fact that you posted an item about it the next day doesn't mean Dr. Collins said it "yesterday", another distortion of 'fact'.) The real story is that he was recommending that parents who "are out and about and might themselves be carrying the virus" who live in "a community that has very high transmission at the present time" to mask to prevent infecting the children. Of course, including that kind of information puts the onus on the parents responsibility and not that "these people have no idea what they’re talking about" as one of the commenters posted. As a "journalist" you must know how important presentation is, along with "facts".

Sort of like your presentation one day that the DOW tanked about 300 points one day but not a word when it recovered almost all of it the next day.

I could go on, but that would be on just how awful the immigration issue is covered.

Thank you for reporting facts, and respecting your readers/viewers (me) enough to assume we have the intelligence to form our own opinions. I had stopped watching the news because of the agendas and propaganda being pushed, but there is a need to know what is going on in the world, in my state, city and neighborhood. I appreciate your journalism (I was taught the same during my college education).

I appreciate you as well

Dave, my Son, Matthew, and I have always said that you are one of the REAL ones, and you report facts. Thank you for being you! I love watching you, and I support you 100%. I feel like I’ve known your family for ever, because of all the videos/pictures I’ve seen. Thank you for letting us be apart of your family! You are the BEST!

I think you do a wonderful job of not letting you views and feelings squeeze into your news articles.

Thank you so much.

Thank you, Dave, for this. I’ve been following you on social media for about a year now, and I appreciate your work. I have a question if you don’t mind: can you give a name or two of some national journalists that you trust, that you feel are also unbiased? I’ve just about given up on national news.

Charlie Leduff in Detroit, Ali Bradley in Seattle, Brett Baier on Fox

Hey Dave - I follow you because I am not much interested in the news, but when I DO get it, I want it to be true and unbiased. Thank you for that!

I really appreciate it.

I have only recently, within the last few months, started following your reports. Your standard of reporting is refreshing in my opinion. For many years I have said we don’t get news anymore, we get editorial comments influenced by the personal ideals of the one delivering the narrative. As yet I have not witnessed that practice in your reports.

A HEARTY THANK YOU!

I have missed the news broadcasts I grew up on. Straight forward facts. I have said many times, we need another Walter Cronkite, “And that’s the way it is 00/00/0000” the current date. Again thank you for delivering facts, because reality is, truth is unbiased, straight forward facts, whether you like the fact or not.

Honestly. I like how you choose unbiased over all else. I didn't know that journalism could be unbiased until I found MMN. So, honestly, thank you!

While this may be debatable, but, local news over national news. Any day. I trust you and your team over FOX and all the other national news team.
