School board walks out on 14-year-old during public comment and a look at media bias

On this edition of Sunday’s Keeping it Real, I had a conversation with a brave 14-year-old girl who stood up to a Michigan school board. As she spoke, the board walked out. During our discussion, I delved into various topics with the girl and her mother, ranging from bias in schools to the growing homeschooling movement. Additionally, I examined media bias at ABC News.
Amelia, the 14-year-old, addressed the Chippewa Valley School District in Macomb County, Michigan, expressing her concerns about district policies. During her speech, she brought up the wife of a school board member, alleging that the woman had targeted her on social media. At that point, she was instructed to cease speaking.
When Amelia continued speaking, the school board chose to leave the room.
