According to Bridge Michigan, a new Michigan mega site taking shape near Flint received state approval for a $1.5 million allocation toward preparing the property for large-scale development on Tuesday.
The property — largely farmland rimmed by houses — stretches three miles at the northern edge of Mundy Township in Genesee County, with Flint’s Bishop International Airport at the northeast corner.
The 1,000-acre property under consideration, situated on the northern edge of Mundy Township near Flint Bishop International Airport, is drawing attention due to its valuable water resources.
