As a former teacher this first part pisses me off. Gender identity is a FAMILY issue. I would opt my child out of all of it. In fact, they'd be absent when this shit is taught. No elementary student EVER needs to be taught about gender identity. Kids need to be kids. They get enough of this as they get older. This is blatant "Identity agenda." There is no other name for it. It's Democratic political shit being shoved at kids who aren't even going to understand it. My grandchildren do. They have an uncle who is gay. They know his partner. For them it is just a fact of life. My daughter grew up knowing I had a cousin who was gay. It's not a disease. None of the people in question are sexual predators. They work and live just like everyone else. It's taught them tolerance. When they make friends they don't see color, religion, or sexual orientation, they see people.
And if schools start passing out contraception, what happens if a child has a reaction to it? I could not take birth control pills. I tried several types, they changed my personality, I hated myself. I felt out of control. It was a disaster. Is the school prepared to handle this? I don't think so. What expert are they going to get to teach this shit? Since there is no college curriculum that provides this to teachers.
I am so sick of Demonrats trying to push agendas on our kids. This current group in Michigan with the Governor who is heading to jail. Really? Where are the recall petitions? Have you all become sheep? So, glad I'm out of there.
There is no defense for this shit. They are overriding parental control. I'd be homeschooling if this went into effect. In fact, I'll offer homeschooling to any parent who wants help with it.
