President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak Tuesday at an event hosted by the Detroit Economic Club, the nonprofit announced Saturday afternoon according to the Detroit Free Press.

According to the club, Tuesday’s appearance will mark the third time Trump has spoken to the Detroit Economic Club. He delivered a campaign address to members in October 2024, one month before winning Michigan in the presidential election. He also addressed the organization in August 2016 during his first presidential campaign.
The Detroit Economic Club was founded in 1934 as a nonpartisan organization committed to discussion and debate on major business, government, and social issues. Organizers say the group has previously hosted a long list of former presidents, including Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush.
Trump has made multiple visits to Michigan over the past year. In April, he spoke at Macomb Community College in Warren and visited Selfridge Air National Guard Base as part of a broader swing through the state.
Michigan remains a key political state, and presidential appearances there often draw significant attention from both supporters and critics. Trump’s speech to the Detroit Economic Club is expected to be closely watched by business leaders and political observers across the state.
