Police say not enough evidence to make arrest in Frankenmuth Splash Village incident.
I talk to the witness and have more on the police investigation
FRANKENMUTH, Mich - Frankenmuth, Michigan Police are investigating after a Amber Archuleta reported witnessing a man expose himself to a child at Zehnder’s Splash Village.
Archuelta tells me the incident happened at the “kiddie hot tub”.
Archuleta said in a viral Facebook post, “An older man was standing slightly above the child. I saw the older man reach into his shorts. I thought maybe he was “adjusting himself” as men sometimes need to. The man then pulled out his genitals and told the little to boy to look, which he did.”
Frankenmuth Police did respond and interview the woman.
The following is the statement just released from Frankenmuth Police:

Amber Archuleta released the following statement upon learning that no charges will be filed at this time:

We were at Broners early morning. Not many people in there. Having fun family time with my wife and two daughters. I went to the bathroom and when I was in there this younger guy was acting odd bumped into my wife, he was getting too close. She had to use the stroller with my younger daughter in it to block my older daughter. I forgot every detail be he ran out of the building fast.
I chose not to go after him as he probably is long gone and would leave my wife and kids vulnerable again.
My wife told a cashier. They didn't seem to concerned and said they would keep a lookout.
For the pool. Who was he with and why was he in the kid area alone without a kid?
I seen the original post on FB from the woman. And that the woman was the one that called the police. Because when their security went to confront the man. And she noticed them laughing with the man. Instead of calling the police! Security saying it was just a big misunderstanding and what the lady witnessed wasn't what she thought was taking place. This is a serious matter that should have been treated differently! The security at the water park was just going to let it slide. They need to have better cameras in there. But one thing's for certain, I know if they have people like that there working security. I won't be giving them my business.
