Virginia AG Refers Loudoun County Schools to DOJ Over Locker Room Incident
Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares has referred Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) to the U.S. Department of Justice and the Department of Education following an investigation into a locker room incident at Stone Bridge High School.
Three male students reported discomfort when a biologically female student, identifying as male, entered the boys' locker room and recorded them changing. Subsequently, the school district initiated sexual harassment investigations against the boys. Miyares stated that the investigation revealed a "disturbing misuse of authority" by LCPS, suggesting that the students were targeted not for misconduct but for expressing their discomfort.

Trump Signs Executive Order 14161, Imposing Travel Ban on 12 Countries
President Donald Trump has signed Executive Order 14161, reinstating a travel ban affecting 12 countries, including Afghanistan, Iran, and Somalia, due to national security concerns.
The order also imposes partial restrictions on immigrants and nonimmigrants from seven additional countries. The administration cited high visa overstay rates and unreliable identity verification systems in the affected countries as justification for the bans.
The decision follows a recent terrorist attack at a Jewish protest in Boulder, Colorado, allegedly carried out by an undocumented immigrant, which Trump used to justify the implementation of stricter entry controls. Click here to read more.
House Republicans Plan Swift Action on Trump's $9.4 Billion Spending Cuts
WASHINGTON D.C. - Republican leaders in the U.S. House of Representatives plan to act quickly on President Trump's request to cut $9.4 billion in previously approved spending on foreign aid and public broadcasting.
The proposed rescissions package includes significant reductions in international aid and funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which supports NPR and PBS. House Majority Leader Steve Scalise announced that legislation formalizing the proposed rescissions may be filed as early as Thursday.

Moms for Liberty and Education Secretary Rally at Supreme Court for Parental Rights
Education Secretary Linda McMahon and the conservative group Moms for Liberty held a rally at the Supreme Court to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of a landmark case affirming parental rights in education.

ICE Arrests Suspected Al Qaeda Member Released Into U.S. By Biden Admin
Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the FBI arrested a suspected member of Al Qaeda who was paroled into the United States by the Biden administration in 2023.
The two federal law enforcement agencies arrested the 39-year-old Tajikistan-born Russian national in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on May 23 — shortly after Tajikistan declared that the man is a fugitive wanted for ties to a criminal organization.
“Arresting individuals linked to terrorist organizations such as Al-Qaeda reaffirms our unwavering commitment to safeguard the homeland,” Enforcement and Removal Operations Philadelphia acting Field Office Director Brian McShane explained in a statement. “Through close collaboration with our outstanding partners at the FBI, we have taken decisive action to make our communities safer and prevent potential threats to the American people.” Click here to read more.
Are we extraditing him to Tajikistan? Since they want him for criminal activities. Or are we going to house and feed this worthless piece of humanity for the rest of his natural life?
Once again there is a political appointee as the Secretary of Education. A business woman no less. Why is it politicians think they can tell teachers how to do their jobs, when they have no idea how to teach? Do they tell doctors how to do their jobs? Electricians how to do theirs? Or Construction workers how to build? Why? It's past time to get rid of the Department of Education and actually use the money for education. I want to know one politician who can run his/her office on $50/year. That's what most teachers have. Text books come out of another line item. Paper, pencils, crayons, colored pencils, art supplies, all have to be purchased for $50 or less. The rest comes out of the teacher's pocket. Classroom books, award stickers, bulletin board decorations, anything that goes on the walls to promote learning. The $500 deduction for that is now gone.
