The name calling of the Columbian President was not necessary. I have friends who live in Columbia and run a medical company. They are helping to get hotels, restaurants, outlying places AEDs the debrillators that are now in schools in the US. into the hands that might have to use them. This is something now required by law in Columbia for all businesses. Starting in 2026 businesses will be fined if they do not have them. So, their President is trying to do good things for his people.

The friends I have are also starting a non-profit called Always Human. They have purchased a plot of land and are teaching the locals how to farm, so they can be more self sufficient. They have applied for a grant to help them acquire more land and more seeds to plant for food. A part of this process is to teach them how to preserve what they harvest for future use. Yes, they can use the food now, but they need to understand how they can keep it for the times when the garden is not growing. They are learning which foods grow in fall and which grow in the spring and when to harvest and how to preserve. There are good things happening in Columbia.

If President Trump wants to cut off funding to Columbia so be it, but he doesn't have to stoop to name calling.

You'd think Detroit Public Schools would learn. Every time they do this, they get caught. So, I'm guessing an administrator, a principal, and a teacher have all been fired. The person who received almost $39,000 in payments after retirement is going to have to pay that money back? I see a lot of criminal charges being brought. Who pays out $1million without a purchase order or an invoice? Only an idiot. Criminals always get caught.

Beef isn't the only thing rising. Fresh vegetables are out of this world. Most of them are so old when they reach the grocery store, they have to be used immediately because within 2 days they are rotten. I'm buying only from farmers markets. Next year I will be growing my own. Not paying for fruit and vegetables that are close to rotten when you get them.

The government needs to reopen and find a way to balance the budget that doesn't put more on the taxpayer. If they are looking to start the depression sooner another tax will do it. They need to cut the pork once and for all. All of them need to drop their pet projects where they get a kickback and get this done and people back to work.

I have been telling people for months we have a big one coming in 2026. You need at least 12 weeks of cash on hand before it hits. Just yesterday I read something that said you need a year in savings and six months in cash on hand. This next depression is going to be worse than what some of your grandparents or great grandparents went through in 1929 and it won't be over until sometime in 2030. Please pay attention.

WRONG, I am not paying taxes for LA to build skyscrapers for the homeless. Turn unused malls into homes for the homeless. Use the ground floor of two story malls for coffee bars, breakfast restaurants and lunch restaurants, or lunch and dinner restaurants, a bakery, a beauty salon, a barbershop, a grocery store, many have cinamas, use them for the residents, an urgent care, an eye doctor, a dentist, a family practice. Malls have room for this. Upper stories can be apartments, singles, doubles, family. It's been done. Fire trucks cannot reach above 7 stories. No building for the homeless should be more than that. But LA or California can pay for it. Not this Kentuckian. I'll pay for housing for the homeless in KY. But not is some other state.
