My dad would have appreciated a Conservation Officer the day two guys wandered onto his property and stole a kill that a friend of Dad's had made. Dad told them to take the deer and hike to the road he didn't want any trouble, but his property was posted no hunting and no trespassing. The guys did grumbling all the way. Hey, they were trespassing and trying to hunt on private land. Had a CO shown up, Dad would have had them escorted off the property without the deer.

This wrong. He brought a knife to a track meet. He planned to kill someone. It just happened to be Austin Metcalf. You don't kill someone for touching you. There is nothing in his actions that show he was not looking for a fight. He was in a rival school's tent. He was asked to leave. Austin was going to escort him out probably put him in the direction of his own team tent. Austin never stood a chance. This kid was looking for a fight which is why he said, "Don't touch me." His excuse for killing the kid when arrested was, "He touched me." He didn't throw a punch, he wasn't trying to start a fight, he just put his hand on your damn shoulder like you were any other human being. Kid needs to go to JAIL for MURDER.
I suspect there will be National Guard deployed in Arizona and Texas to help with this same issue. Maybe if we could get drug ads off TV it would help.
