Only 1.7% of those eligible to vote, voted. I'm willing to be those that didn't vote believed those who did would turn it down. They are not a union. A union would require 2/3 of those eligible to vote, voting. If they didn't it doesn't pass because there is no quarum. This is Michigan Law 101. I learned that in my Masters program and again in my Ed Specialist program. Unless the law has changed since 2015 and I've not heard it has. They are all being unfairly made to pay dues according to their own laws. What the hell is going on in Michigan? The inmates are running the asylum.
It's wrong for a transgender guy to play on a women's team in any sport. I am proud of the young ladies who are forfeiting to this team. I'm sorry two seniors on the team felt they had to quit, but it makes a statement. This is not fair to women. Men are born with a different musculature. It doesn't change just because they decide to become women. It puts every woman on each team at a disadvantage. This young man made a choice and he will have to live with it. I suggest s/he get used to rejection.
That textbook needs to be pulled. I am a Christian, I am NOT now nor have a ever been superior to any other person regardless of race, ethnicity, or place of birth. I AM a human with flaws. I'm not perfect and I am not above anyone one else. I resent that statement. I know many men and women who are Christians who are of color. I have friends in other countries who are Christian and they are NOT terrorists. I have been called a terrorist because I was a teacher. I'm no threat to anyone.
This is one troubled teen. I hope he gets the mental healthcare he needs. Yes, he needs to pay for the expense that was incurred looking for him. He never should be around weapons. Someone needs to find out why he had to go to this extreme to get his parents attention.

Gee, five areas of LA went up in flames. So, she is responsible for the deaths of 29 people, 12,000 people were left homeless, and yet most of those homes have not been rebuilt yet.
