Michigan taxpayers will care? If it doesn't immediately impact them they don't care. Until they understand that is does affect them, nothing will change.
I have to believe they were singled out not for not wearing masks. I was 2024 for crying out loud. No one wears a mask anymore unless they are paranoid. They were singled out and charged because they were Republicans. The lack of a mask was just an excuse. The fact that they are wasting tax dollars on a trial by bury is ludicrous. It should have been settled before it got to this point. I see the person being exonerated. And the county clerk or whomever with egg on their face.
I can see where a socialist mayor would panic the NYC upper crust and Wall St. brokers. How much damage can he really do? It might not be as bad as everyone thinks. Then again it might be worse.
There was a time. Back in the mid-1970s that Planned Parenthood did NOT do abortions. They did give out free birth control pills to young girls, but they advocated for young women to allow their babies to be adopted or to help them raise their own. I know this for FACT. I was a young woman facing a pregnancy alone. Planned Parenthood told me in no uncertain terms if I wanted an abortion, I would have to find a doctor who did them. They were not doing that. They were safe. I was not planning to abort my child. In fact, I didn't abort.
