Watch Us Bust A Refugee Medicaid Scammer Red-Handed
HARRISBURG, Pa. — Ram Kuma Chhetri has a routine.
Every morning at 6 a.m., he pulls into the driveway of a nearby home, sits in the car for two or three minutes, then leaves. At 5 p.m., he does the same: drives up, fiddles with his phone in the driver’s seat, then returns home.
Why does he do this every day?
Pennsylvania allows poor elderly people to steer government Medicaid payments to their relatives or friends for helping them cook, clean and perform other everyday in-home tasks. Its version of the program is so generous that home care is now the most common profession in the state. A “home care” aide only has to do one thing to get the state to pay out: use a GPS-enabled phone app that confirms that the worker is at his client’s house when he clocks in and clocks out. Startup Wants Robot Dogs To Take A Bite Out Of Crime
Undaunted started making robot dogs to improve security in high-crime areas of Atlanta, and one of its dogs helped lead to an arrest in a murder investigation, per Newsweek. The company told the Daily Caller News Foundation that this is the next evolution of security for apartment complexes and multi-family homes.
Undaunted was conceived out a moment of desperation, Chris Ozgo, a cofounder of Undaunted, told the DCNF. David Cummings, a founder and partner in Atlanta Ventures, purchased 56 buildings spanning over 13 square blocks in the South Downtown neighborhood of Atlanta, a high-crime part of the city. Cummings soon discovered it was a “wasteland” for security and he spent over $400,000 per year for two 24-hour armed security guards that were not effective at policing the area. Even worse, the abandoned buildings were virtual homeless encampments. Click here to read more.

Democrat Haley Stevens Issues Stunning Endorsement of Republican Mike Rogers in Michigan Senate Race
Michigan Democrat Rep. Haley Stevens stunned the political world on Sunday by formally endorsing Republican Mike Rogers over Muslim Socialist Abdul El-Sayed in Michigan’s Senate contest. Stevens posted the endorsement on X after appearing with Rogers at a black church in Detroit earlier in the day.
“Hey Michigan, as you may have seen, our Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, Abdul, said that I was no longer welcome in his campaign and that I should stay away, and he’s right. That’s why I am endorsing Mike Rogers for the United State Senate today. I don’t belong in Abdul’s campaign. I do not stand with Hasan Piker, who gets trafficked on our college campuses. A dear friend of mine earlier today was saying that education is on the ballot and she is absolutely right. Click here to read more.

New World screwworm confirmed in Arizona dog, USDA says
Per a statement, officials with the USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) confirmed the case in a dog in Cochise County.
“This is the first detection of [New World Screwworm] in Arizona,” read a portion of USDA’s statement. “APHIS is working closely with the Arizona Department of Agriculture on a joint response.”
What we don’t know:
USDA officials did not say where the dog was located in Cochise County.
Why you should care:
Officials with USDA say New World screwworm “is a serious pest that affects livestock, pets, wildlife, and, less commonly, people”.
“The larvae feed on living tissue and can cause severe wounds, animal suffering, and significant economic impacts if not detected and treated quickly,” read a portion of the statement. Click here to read more.

Democratic Rep. Haley Stevens endorses Republican Mike Rogers for Michigan Senate
Democratic Rep. Haley Stevens endorsed Republican Mike Rogers in the Michigan Senate race on Sunday — a stunning break with her party that derails Democrats’ attempts to create a united front for Abdul El-Sayed.
Stevens’ seismic step across party lines comes just days after she insisted she was still going to support El-Sayed despite their escalating public feud.
Tensions crescendoed through the weekend as Stevens attempted to condition a Sunday joint appearance with El-Sayed and Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-S.C.) on El-Sayed’s rejection of an ad from one of his allies that was critical of Israel. El-Sayed’s team then asked Stevens to stay away from his events. Click here to read more.
