Do not get me started on the THIEVES who claim to be representatives of the people of Michigan and call themselves lawmakers. The only laws they make are to line their pockets and empty yours. They owe you money for the time they waste in Lansing. I have no use for any of them and am so glad I don't live there. At least here in Kentucky the governor is fulfilling his promise to make sure internet is available to every household. More than I can say for Witless.
How sad is it that we now have to keep children out of libraries. My daughter lived for the summer reading program. She read enough during the program to have done it twice and sometimes three times. She later worked part-time in the library while in middle school. Yes, she was paid for her time there and she thoroughly enjoyed it. She introduced her own children to libraries. She still uses the library. I cannot imagine not taking my child to storytime or other opportunities the library offered.
I personally don't care what an NFL player said to anyone. I wasn't there, I didn't hear it presented, I have not listened to the speech. I don't care. In my lifetime, I have never needed a Hollywood actor/actress, a Superstar musician, a pro athlete, or any icon of any kind. I have needed a doctor, a lawyer, a farmer on a daily basis, a plumber, a librarian, a police officer, a paramedic, and the list goes on, but not once have I need those who seem to be at the top of the list. They are human and put their pants on one leg at a time. So, why unless they are criminals do I care what they say or to whom they say it. If he were trying to encourage those graduates to take up arms and overthrow the government, I highly doubt they would have listened or cared. People before you vilify any of them, say nothing unless you were there.
If anyone should owe for being a monopoly it's Mark Zuckerberg. Where are the other three guys who helped launch Facebook? He also owns Beluga, Reality Labs, Onavo, LiveRail, Whatsapp, Instagram, FriendFeed, Mapillary, Asenta, and Threads. He owns most people's lives and he doesn't care as long as he can exploit the general public. Remember he just sold Twitter not too long ago and he really wants us all to call Facebook-Meta after he renamed it and gave the metaverse a bad name.
Anyone who runs into a burning house to save a child is a HERO. I don't care if he's the guy off the street or the person who puts on a fire suit. Those running into fires have only one thought save the victim. This man had only one thought, save the baby. Kudos for doing the right thing.
