Maybe the problem is what you are forcing teachers to teach. Core Curriculum needed to never be in schools. Many states took a look at it and opted out. Gee, I wonder why? NOT. It is not an educationally sound program. Core math alone does nothing but confuse children and parents alike. Most parents can help their kids with math up through geometry. After that it becomes more difficult. I don't know one parent who even understands Core Math. I keep telling you that's because it doesn't relate to real world problems. If you have a child who struggles with reading they might as well quit school by second grade. The problems get more and more reading put into them and the kids have trouble figuring out what the math part is. It's the programs that are bad. Not the teachers and not the spending. They are spending on the wrong thing. They don't do a program EVER for 10-15 years. They change every five before they decide on a new one. So, you have 5 years of kid working in a new program. The first year is wasted as the teachers are learning how to teach it. By the end of the first year they know what has to be done. Next you have years two, three, and four to see where kids are. In year five no one is paying attention because teachers are now trying to figure out what new program is going to get voted in for year six that they have to learn all the new components to. Seriously, this is wrong. Most Michigan schools go with what Texas bought and get it the following year. The system is broken, because if you get something that works it's gone in 5 years. They also need to have thrown out Reading First. NO data anywhere supports kids in grades 1-4 spending 120 uninterrupted minutes a day in a reading class. If there is any, I have yet to find it. Ask yourself if you could sit for two hours in a class with no interruptions. I'm not sure I could.
Why does this surprise anyone? We all knew the wealthy were going to make money once Trump was in office. Did you not know this? Were you sleeping the entire time? Is he taking a salary this time? Last time his salary was donated to the Veterans Administration to mismanage. The swamp is not being cleared. Overspending by the government is. But the swamp is alive and well plotting against him.
They are extremely lucky that baby wasn't snatched. I would never have left my daughter to take a ride in an amusement park. If I couldn't take her on the ride or stand and watch her ride a kiddie ride. I wouldn't go.

I'm waiting for Ann Arbor's sheriff to find herself without a job. I highly doubt her officers will stand behind her if their jobs are at risk.
