St. Louis Public Schools do not have any concept of what it means to have every parent drive kids to school. Some kids will show up at 6am because the parent will drop them off on the way to work. The traffic in an around the school during drop-off and pick up with be a nightmare. I see that every afternoon in tiny Nancy, Ky population 5,000. They are double lined up to pick up kids. There is a police officer on site. He helps kids get safely to cars, then moves his vehicle to the exit to also monitor speed on the main highway the school is located on. Parents making right turns out of the school are held until last so those making left turns can get out. Then you get the right hand turners. Then the busses line up to pick up those who still ride the bus. While the kids may be dismissed at 3:15pm those getting on the busses are not dismissed until 3:30pm and then they just line up at the doors until the busses can pull up to the building. When busses are all lined up the kids are allowed out of the building. Quadruple that for St. Louis.
Not a fan of Ron DeSantis, however, I will give him credit for getting this one right. The paper they are disguising as meat is nauseating. McDonald's will be the first to on board that.
Virginia uses outside speech pathologists. In Michigan speech pathologists are hired by the school district they will work in. The letter was wrong. You terminate an employee in person. You can hand them a letter with all the reasons or you can mail the person a letter with all the reasons, but you quietly tell them in person. Other than your Special Education Supervisor or Director NO ONE else gets to know the reason the person is being terminated.
So, he tends to agree with parents. That just means he doesn't see the need for a speech class. He has no say in any other programming for the child. Spec Ed. laws are extremely clear as to who gets to come to the IEP and what their role is. Sure hope they didn't violate any Federal laws.
Michigan Dems don't want to lose power. This is a power play.

Unbelievable a Fraternity did something good. Someone better put this in the history books. Not known of any that ever did anything worthwhile.
