Why is this a big deal? In Michigan kids as young as 12 yrs old own rifles. They go through firearms training to get deer hunting licenses. In northern MI, schools are closed Nov. 15th because every kid 12 yrs old and up are out opening day of deer season looking for a deer to put food on the family table. If dad and each of his kids get a deer, they don't need meat for a year. At most of the high schools that are gun free zones, during deer season, you see rifles in carry racks in the back of almost every pickup truck parked at the school. Because when the final bell rings, those kids are in their trucks going to the last two hours of daylight to get their buck.
Gee does Norway have wind turbines lining their shores? I don't think so. Along their shoreline they have them. I guess they are planning to put in 30,000 in the waters of Norway, so their idea is for every country who has shoreline to put these up? What does this do to the ecosystem in the ocean? They are only putting them up on the Western coast of Norway, not their eastern coast. Seems they picked the wrong coastline in the US.
Somehow, I don't think the EVs will hold up in a NASCAR race. Go ahead and give them a shot, but you are losing the sound of NASCAR with an EV. You are losing the power of a NACAR. I don't see this as the future of NASCAR if they want to keep the fans coming. They have already out priced themselves for most of the NASCAR Nation.
Sad the bears had to pay with their lives for the stupidity of humans. There most likely would not have been and issue with the car had groceries been taken inside immediately on arrival. The scent of food would not have enticed the bears. I'm not sure the woman was even pulled off her porch by the bear. I would have expected some kind of injury had this actually happened. I suspect they set the bear trap too close to the porch making it impossible to use the porch. This prompted the call to the police.
