What is wrong with people in Chicago? I swear you hear about a killing there more than any other place right now unless it's a mass shooting. I'm glad they got the gunman. I hope those who were injured will quickly recover. There are too many people in big cities. It's part of why I avoid them like the plague.

Other than senior citzens. Every able bodies voter needs to pick their asses off the sofa, an go vote in person. I don't care if you have to stand in line 10 minutes or 4 hours. It is your responsibility to VOTE! The only excuse not to is hospitalization or unexpected death. People fought and died to get men of color the right to vote. It took longer to get women the right to vote. In voting we are all equal. We get one ballot, one vote for the candidate of our choice. Not voting is giving up one of your rights. How are you going to feel when you don't have that right? Don't think it can't happen.
The news is so skewed. There are so many places to get the news that are not mainstream media it's not funny. I am so tired of people saying to me, "You have to top watching Fox News, CNN and MSNBC. I don't watch any of them. Nor do I watch ABC, NBC, or CBS. I turned off the news years ago. If I want something local, I can usually find it locally. If I want to know what's going on in the UK, I watch BBC. I often try to pick up foreign news to see how the world is reacting to the idiocy of our current administration. See, they know who the deep swamp is. They are waiting for the American people to rise up and get rid of it. They don't all see us as the lap of luxury. Broaden your horizons people.
Please tell Luis Diego Hernandez-Moncayo his application for asylum has been denied, put him in a rowboat in the middle of the Atlantic with a bottle of water and a sandwich and point him south and tell him to start rowing. Maybe if we are lucky he will get lost in the Bermuda Triangle. Seems like a good place for him.
