MIAMI, FLA - In response to the escalating crisis in Haiti, the State of Florida has announced a significant ramp-up in efforts to combat illegal vessels attempting to reach its shores. Governor of Florida, in a recent statement, declared the deployment of over 250 additional officers and soldiers, along with a dozen air and sea crafts, to bolster the state's defenses along the southern coast.
With the situation in Haiti worsening, and the potential for an influx of illegal migrants seeking refuge, the Governor emphasized the need for proactive measures to protect the state. BRITAIN - The National Health Service (NHS) England has issued a ban on puberty blockers for children who identify as transgender.
NHS England based its decision to ban puberty blockers for children this week on there not being enough evidence on the procedure’s safety or clinical effectiveness. The U.K. government also endorsed the “landmark decision,” hailing at as being in the “best interests of children.” NHS England proposed a ban on the procedure last June and issued the definitive decision following a review from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE). College Park, MD - The City of College Park, Maryland, hired a "racial equity" leader to spearhead its mission to eliminate systemic racism in its departments who has made statements defending violence and promoting the idea of a revolution against the United States.

LANSING — As fewer Michigan residents opt in to the state’s bottle deposit program, lawmakers are proposing a possible solution: outlawing store restrictions on returning bottles and cans.
Michigan is tied with Oregon for the highest bottle deposit in the country, charging 10 cent deposits per eligible bottle and can at point of purchase to incentivize recycling.
Some lawmakers suspect part of the problem is that many retailers never fully restored their return operations, setting limits on returnables or failing to replace broken machines. Click here to learn more.

Inflation will continue to rise. That is not going to change. I do appreciate states who have stopped taxing food and prescription medications. Paying 11% for food and prescriptions is cost prohibitive to seniors and those unable to stay afloat even with food stamps.
They are correct in parts of Michigan. When I lived in West Branch, MI there was no limit, but you might have to wait 30.minutes because two or three of the return machines were always, down. When I lived in Clarkston, MI the Kroger a mile down the street limited you to $25 worth of bottles. They, too often had machines down or full.
