Mother and Stepfather Detained as Search for Rebecca Park’s Missing Baby Intensifies
Detectives are piecing together Rebecca Park’s final days as the search for her baby continues across Wexford County.
The mother and stepfather of 22 year old Rebecca Park are currently detained and in custody at the Wexford County Jail as investigators work to piece together the events leading up to her disappearance and death. At the same time, authorities say they are actively searching for Rebecca’s newborn baby, who was not found with her remains in the Manistee National Forest.
Jail records show that Rebecca’s mother, Cortney Bartholomew, and her stepfather, Brad Bartholomew, are being held as part of the expanding investigation. Officials have not announced charges or explained the specific reason for their detention. They say only that the pair is in custody while detectives continue to gather evidence.

The investigation took a major turn on November 25 when volunteer searchers discovered a body in a remote part of the Manistee National Forest. An autopsy confirmed that the remains belonged to Rebecca. She had been nearly full term in her pregnancy when she vanished, and detectives quickly revealed that the baby she was carrying was missing. Locating the infant remains a top priority.
Rebecca was reported missing on November 3 after she stopped communicating with family and friends. Investigators say she was last seen getting into a dark colored vehicle outside a relative’s home in Boon Township. Deputies launched an extensive search using drones, ground teams, and digital tracking methods.
As detectives worked through interviews and phone data, the case widened. On the same night her body was found, Rebecca’s fiancé, Richard Lee Falor, was taken into custody. He faces two counts of delivering methamphetamine. Because of multiple prior felony convictions, he is considered a habitual offender and could face a possible life sentence. His cash bond was set at one million dollars.
The following morning, Rebecca’s sister, Kimberly Park, was also taken into custody. She is charged with tampering with evidence in a criminal case, lying to police during a violent crime investigation, and filing a false felony report. Her bond was set at seven hundred fifty thousand dollars cash.
With multiple family members now in custody and a newborn baby still unaccounted for, authorities say the case remains active, complex, and sensitive. Detectives are continuing to build a timeline of Rebecca’s final days and are urging anyone with information to contact the Wexford County Sheriff’s Office immediately.
Officials say more information will be released once it can be confirmed and once it will not jeopardize the investigation or the search for the infant.

The mother, step-father, and the junkie boyfriend have all been arrested? So was this a group effort or are they hoping on will turn on the other two? I expected to hear that they sold the baby?
I’m hearing about an hour ago on MLive the baby was stillborn. Is this true Dave?
