How much you want to bet they could have the budget solved by close of business Monday? Take their pension funds and roll them into social security and watch how fast that system gets fixed. Take away their Cadillac insurance packages and put the on the same plan every other Amrerican has to be on and watch how fast that gets fixed. You have to give them the right incentives to do the right thing. We need to get rid of the life time politicians, our forefathers never intended Congress to be a career.

I agree with you. State governors should have to live on SSI and SNAP for a while to see what happens when THEY FAIL.
