Michigan woman says city forced her to rehome her two dogs
Why she claims there is a double standard
Many cities across the country have a limit as to how many dogs you can have in your home.
Linda Zuraw in Bay City, Michigan had five dogs in her home. Code enforcement told her she had to remove two dogs by March of 2024 or be in contempt of court.
If Zuraw refused to remove the two dogs city code enforcement told her they could come to her home and remove them.
Zuraw tells me the three-dog rule in Bay City is not enforced properly. Zuraw says there are many people in Bay City who have more than three dogs but are not facing the same disciplinary actions that she is facing.
