You’re absolutely correct

Hamilton Community Schools did this as well in February. I opted out of having my daughter complete this survey. She is a bit older but I am sure it was fairly similar if not the same one. The email of letting us know about it was very vague. It says sensitive questions would be ask but not sexuality and gender based. Unfortunately, my daughter has already been exposed to it without my realization in prior grade. I haven't always been vigilant, I had just followed with what was requested of me.

I think some real mad dads and moms need to show just how mad they can be. Show it loud enough to make national news. Get Trumps attention.

I’ve been trying to get it out there

What are they thinking? They are just making the whole issue worse. Wonder what they will do when people start pulling their kids to homeschool? That's a $ loss for the school. I remember when the district I taught in had an issue with teachers writing letters of support for a pedophile. It cost them a middle school, those teachers were transferred and the parents in the other middle school did not want their kids with those teachers. They always allowed for the loss of 50 students a year. They did not allow for the loss of 110 the first semester and another 50 the second semester. At that time students were worth $7100. They have never recovered. That was over a million dollar loss. There are even homeschooling programs through the state of Michigan. Don't tell me they will miss out on things. They are allowed to play sports, attend music, band, art, and PE if you so choose. They can go to Prom. They will get a graduation program just not through that school. I believe Senior trip is also included in what they can do if you trust the district with your child. Or the alternative is for the parents to get together and plan Prom and Senior Trip with the group being homeschooled.
