So, they have to bribe people with our own tax dollars to take these people into our homes? Sorry Governor, they are illegals and need to be deported, not brought into homes and put our citizens in danger

Absolutely not. My family immigrated here and did it the proper way. Not sneaking in through the back door like a criminal. All of these “migrants” and “newcomers” are criminals by crossing into the country illegally. Nope the state can keep their $500.

Where is the dislike button? How do you know who will be coming into your home? What guarantees do you have they won't empty your home and set it up as gang headquarters? Where are the safety protocalls?

Where is this monthly payment coming from? Who is funding it? I wish we could come together and become a red state.

Probably from our tax dollars

Newcomers?? You mean illegals, they come through illegally not to mention running down the border patrol yesterday. There are families with children that live close to the border, on the US side, that can’t let their children play in their yard due to the invasion. Thanks Biden for your inconsiderate, unethical policies that that have put every American at risk.

“Newcomers “ is probably the new PC term they are using instead of illegals. 🙄

There's NO way!! The stupidity and hypocrisy never ends! We don't give 2 squats about the citizens that are hurting and struggle to just live and this is their proposition?? NO NO NO! This current administration hates us and our country.

Notice it says “Up to $500” so not even guaranteed $500 to take an illegal.

I’d take in a homeless veteran before this. Why doesn’t the government take care of homeless veterans and Americans FIRST!

“ Newcomers” is the new word for “illegal” or “undocumented”! Quite deceptive!

Housing is hard to find, let alone affordable housing. My son had a job in another city, we searched for months to find somewhere he could live so he could work there. Absolutely nothing, including long term motel, campground openings and shelters. Nothing. He had to quit and move back downstate. It’s difficult all the way around.

This Governor is off her rocker! Tell her to open her doors up first!
