The damn government needs to get the hell out of education. If they mandate it, they HAVE to fund it. So that means higher taxes. Since when is the curriculum the soul decision maker in curriculum taught? NEVER. They have to research current studies on what students are missing in curriculum and at what grade levels. Then the present the research (that is currently non-existent) to the teachers--those people responsible for teaching said curriculum. Then they have to research text books that include these subjects (there currently are none) so the teachers can choose the text that best reflects their curriculum and checks all the boxes. This process takes a year. So, which of the Demonrats, is going to volunteer to teach this curriculum in every district in the state? Oh wait, there aren't enough of them and none of the are "Qualified" under their own damn law. IDIOTS at work once again.
We are and that's not a good thing. Some parents are not able to homeschool because they barely made it out of school themselves, or didn't finish at all.

They dropped government / civics decades ago!! There will be scant time for math and reading and writing But who needs that when we have AI?
