I spoke with Christena, a Flint, Michigan resident, who traveled to Grand Rapids to attend Donald Trump's final rally of the campaign season. Christena is part of a group known as the "Front Row Joes," dedicated supporters who often secure front-row spots at Trump events.

Local TV news has a new name in Saginaw, Michigan and it’s a guy named Ryan

In an interview, Saginaw resident Ryan discusses how he began reporting local news through his Facebook page, Breaking News 989, which now has 66,000 followers. Without a journalism degree, he’s filled a gap left by understaffed local TV stations by covering live events like fires, accidents, and community activities, focusing on accuracy and factual reporting. Initially, he faced resistance from police but has gained respect by cooperating at crime scenes. He also runs Fun Things to Do in Michigan, a positive community group. Driven by a passion for his city, Ryan hopes to expand his efforts into a larger news platform.
