Life moves fast. Take time to enjoy
My battle with a mind that doesn't stop
Today is my 47th birthday.
It feels just like yesterday I graduated high school at Westland John Glenn.
Ever since I can remember I have been someone who always plans ahead.
When I was 10-years-old I remember planning out my life on a piece of paper from age 20 to 60. I know ridiculous right?
I have always thought ahead and tried to plan out everything.
I now realize planning for the future is a good thing, but worrying is a STUPID thing to do.
My dreams have come true.
I wanted to be a news reporter/anchor with a beautiful amazing wife and children.
I have all of the things I ever wanted and at times I still find myself worrying about life.
As I sit here on my 47th birthday I sit and watch my 8-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son play in the kitchen.
Putting down the phone and computer is something I still struggle with but something I need to do every day.
I need to focus on what matters.
What matters is my family, raising my children in a Christian church and values that will make them great adults.
What matters is being happy and realizing that GOD is in complete control.
Have a great week everyone.
Remember —— take a deep breath and enjoy what’s around you cause it could be gone in the blink of an eye.

I am close to 76. Last year I entered the last chapter of life. Live each day to the fullest—what ever that means to each individual. I’m grateful for good healthy, decent mobility, good eyesight. Find things that bring joy and do them!
Happy Birthday Dave! You are absolutely right life passes by so fast. So enjoy your family and each day you are given. May God bless you with many more birthdays!
