Dave, You asked on Facebook about contacts in NC. I did respond in the comments and waiting to hear from my family there. They are east of Asheville & doing relief work out of their church. In the meantime, there is a group Civilian Crisis Response Team - they have a page on Facebook. Accepting donations from the mid-west including Michigan. If you're able to see their FB page it shows updates about what they are doing in Western NC. https://www.facebook.com/civilianprotector
