Willfred, who resides just outside Saint Louis, Missouri, stepped away from mainstream media a year ago, disillusioned by its superficial coverage of critical issues like mental health and drug addiction.
"Mainstream media often skims the surface with stories that are barely a minute and thirty seconds long," Willfred said. "They don't dig deep, and I felt we weren't making a difference. That's why I decided to step away."
