BREAKING: U.S. House approves $96 Billion in foreign aid and approves so called TikTok ban.
The legislation will now go to the U.S. Senate
The U.S. House of Representatives has passed several significant national security bills with substantial bipartisan support. Among them is the "21st Century Peace through Strength Act," which was approved with a vote of 360-58. This comprehensive legislation targets a range of issues from sanctions on Iran and the seizure of Russian assets to a potential nationwide ban on TikTok.

Key provisions of the bill include:
Sanctions against ports and refineries processing Iranian oil, as well as parties involved in the sale or transfer of Iranian missiles and drones.
Authorization for the executive to transfer frozen Russian assets to Ukraine.
A stipulation giving TikTok's parent company, ByteDance, nine months to divest, or face being banned from U.S. app stores.
Simultaneously, the House passed the "Indo-Pacific Security Supplemental" with a vote of 385-34. This bill allocates $95 billion for measures countering China in the Indo-Pacific, including:
$8.1 billion to counter Chinese influence.
$3.3 billion for submarine infrastructure development.
Extensive military financing and support for Taiwan and other regional allies.
Additionally, the "Israel Security Supplemental" was approved 366-58, providing $26.4 billion to bolster Israel's defense capabilities, including substantial investments in missile defense systems and humanitarian assistance.
As these bills move to combine into an amendment before heading to the Senate, Democrats displayed enthusiastic support, especially noticeable during votes related to Ukraine, where Ukrainian flags were prominently displayed.
The bills not only reflect the U.S. commitment to global security but also indicate a significant bipartisan effort to address the current geopolitical challenges. If passed by the Senate, these measures will significantly shape U.S. foreign policy and defense strategies in the regions concerned.
