Keeping it Real December 10, 2023.
We have an amazing newsletter for you tonight:
Rodney Smith Jr., the founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama, has inspired thousands of young people over the past five years to mow lawns for free in their communities.
Smith and volunteers assist seniors, disabled individuals, single parents, and veterans. In 2017, he embarked on a nationwide initiative, personally mowing lawns for free in all 50 states.
Click here to donate to Rodney’s mission.
He subsequently completed 10 US tours, raising awareness and funds for causes like breast cancer and veterans' issues. Smith turned these tours into the 50 Yard Challenge, urging young people to mow 50 lawns in their communities.
Participants receive incentives and, upon completing the challenge, are rewarded with new lawn care equipment. Over 2,000 kids in the US and eight other countries have registered for the challenge.
Smith aims to expand his tours globally and grow his organization to include chapters nationwide, emphasizing the positive impact on both participants and those in need.
This Christmas season Rodney is going with his friend to every state to delivers gifts to special needs children.
We also talked on the show about Elon Musk allowing controversial figure Alex Jones back on his platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
Elon Musk, the tech billionaire and owner of X (formerly known as Twitter), has announced the reinstatement of far-right conspiracy theorist Alex Jones's account on the platform. Musk conducted an informal poll among users, with 70 percent in favor of bringing back Jones, who was banned five years ago for abusive behavior.
Watch my discussion about this controversial matter:
Jones was permanently banned in 2018 for violating abusive behavior policies, with his Infowars account also removed. Jones promoted controversial conspiracy theories, including one about the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting. Families of the victims won nearly $1.5 billion in judgments against him. Musk, who previously expressed disinterest in reinstating Jones due to his conspiracy theories, has now reversed that decision.
Thank-you to everyone for taking the time to read this newsletter.

Dave ...have you heard of the Four Lakes Task Force?
The short of it random circuit court judge in Midland Michigan in 2019 passes a lake level order. No one protests, I don't think anyone knew. After that order goes through Midland and Gladwin counties create Four Lakes Task Force. 2020 all 3 dams break. Now thanks for the task force every everyone on thd Tabacco & Tittabwasee rivers (and related waterways) are being assessed to cover the rebuilds and all associated costs. I asked what happens if your property isn't as much as assessment and you can't pay. I was told if you don't pay the assessments which are on top of the regular taxes. The government can take your land.
Something doesn't seem right here to me. I'm really upset about it. I'm going to be seeking civil actions because I hear there's a few of them going on.
So if you know anything about this I would love to hear about it. If you'd like to talk about it i'm game.
