2026 Won’t Look the Same Around Here

Some big changes are about to happen

As we move into 2026, I’m planning to ramp this up in a real way. More reporting. More original work. More time spent on stories that don’t get covered.

The volume of stories coming my way continues to grow, and to cover them properly, I want to expand the operation and bring on additional help. That next step depends on support from readers who value this work and want to see it grow.

For the past couple of years, I’ve been building this independently after leaving legacy media following 25 years in the business. I made that move because I wanted full control. No corporate filters. No pressure to follow narratives. No one telling me which stories were safe and which ones weren’t.

This newsletter exists because of that decision.

In 2026, the plan is to do more of what I do best. Longer investigations. More public records requests. More on camera reporting and interviews. Less reacting. More digging.

I’m not trying to be everywhere. I’m trying to be useful, accurate, and honest.
